Women Owned Businesses Increase

The EDGE staff is looking for volunteers to assist in planning a Women Business Owners conference that will be held in April 2011. This conference will give Women Business Owners in the Glades a chance to participate in a strategic plan for business development in the Glades Region (Belle Glade, Canal Point, Clewiston, Moore Haven, Pahokee, and South Bay), as well as an opportunity to showcase their business and products.

The first organizational workshop will take place on October 21st, at 10AM at the
Palm Beach State College Belle Glade Campus.

Agri-tourism a Family Fun Destination Brand
