Volunteers Needed
The EDGE is accepting applications for volunteers to help with planning and implementing a live auction and banquet celebration. Call today 561-993-3343.
The first planning meeting will be held on Sept 19, 2007 at 10AM-Noon. Lunch will be provided.
The Event will take place on February 7, 2008 in Belle Glade at the Dolly Hand Auditorium.
This event is going to raise funds for the Micro-Loan program and the Youth Entrepreneur program that is offered by the EDGE. In addition the outstanding Entrepreneur will be announced and the mentoring program will be giving awards to the Youth that have successfully completed the Youth Entrepreneur Success (YES) program.
The last YES online auction will begin on January 1, 2008 and end on February 7, 2008 at the event. This is a first if its kind of an event in the Glades and we promise everyone with have a fun night out.
Community minded businesses and organization will have the opportunity to participate in this event by donating or sponsoring an item for sale on the online auction.
